My father has recently purchased a Compaq CQ60-111EM laptop which runs Windows Vista. This is to replace an old desktop PC he has had for some years.
When he purchased the laptop he asked if his Epson Photo RX425 would work with it and was told it definitely would.
Now we find that it appears that the drivers for the Epson RX425 are not compatible with Vista. Having returned to Currys where the PC was purchased they advised that they can not possibly know everything which may or may not work with Vista and we should have done some investigating ourselves before purchase!!
Whilst the laptop is excellent and just what my dad wanted he is unable to use his printer with it. The printer is just over a year old and there is nothing wrong with it (apart from not working with Vista)
Does anybody know of any Vista drivers available or where we can get them from?
Thanks
