Hi everyone,

I'm having problem on a brand new computer.
It's running with windows vista 32bit service pack 1, in Dutch.

I can't run .exe files I downloaded from microsoft.com, like visualc++ redistribuable package(vcredist_x86), windows installer or .netframework.

When I run the application it asks me for authorisation, and I accept, then the windows doesn't show up, but I can see the related process in the task manager.
Nothing happens, and this is annoying cause I need visual c++ for other applications.

Why doesn't it say anything? Even if the file was corrupt or something it would show an error window.

I spent the night trying to find a solution, but I had no success, if you have any advice for me I'd really appreciate it.
