I've been dual booting XP x64 and Ubuntu AMD64 for a little over a year now. I want to try the Windows 7 beta out too. So far I've downloaded it twice and burned 4 disks at different speeds with different drives. When I boot the machine with the beta disk in the drive it comes to the install screen and it shows for just a split second then jumps right to the grub boot menu. I've tried to hit the space bar as soon as it gets there but it still just goes right by.
The original XPx64 disk, the XPx64 SP2 Slip Stream disk I made and every other thing I burned to install worked fine. The only one with a problem is the Windows 7 x64 Beta.
I was thinking there might be a problem with the Grub Loader but all of the other ones I've tried had no problems with it. I've thought about switching back to the Windows Boot Loader but all the info I have found so far about doing that is confusing. Besides if I trash my Grub and it doesn't fix it that'll suck.
There is a separate Partition for this.
Does anyone have any ideas how I could get this to work?
