I have bought a HP F4180 all in one printer at the weekend, and am trying to install it on my HP laptop running Vista.
Basically the printer is installed, as I can see it is tick checked ready, in printers in the control panel. And also I can get scanned data from the printer to the computer.
It is just whenever I try to print a document or even test page, absolutley nothing happens. I have tried updating the drivers numerous times and reinstalling everything. HP customer service can't seem to help, which is why I think it may be Vista and permissions? I am logged in as administrator, I have even unhidden the 'Administrator' account and tried that. I have tried installing everything using 'Run as administrator'. I am totally stuck on what to do. Any opinions on what I can try. I have been searching google for help, all weekend, but all the Vista/printer problems do not seem to quite match mine!
THANKS!
