This is probably the only time I will use this forum...I really need help though.
I don't know much about computers (why I am here)...so here's my problem:
At first, the audio on my entire computer went out (around January 1st or 2nd) and the video quality was terrible for everything. Also, windows installer would not work (which I found out while trying to reinstall Java). I tried reinstalling the drivers and that didn't work either.
I then proceeded to work with this until yesterday another problem occurred. It has to do with mpegsplitter.ax, and I have already read about this and tried to fix it with multiple methods. So I when I went to uninstall the program that was causing the problem, I could not uninstall it because windows installer did not work correctly.
I then found a solution (Windows Installer Cleanup Utility) to try and make windows installer work, but that said I could not use Windows Installer Cleanup Utility to fix it...I then found a solution to that (run it as administrator), but apparently I cannot run anything as administrator BECAUSE windows installer does not work.
All help is appreciated, if you need anymore information about my computer, I will try to help.
