I have a Dell Vostro with 120GB that originally came with Vista Home Basic . I tried to upgrade to Vista Home Premium-- but it instead it didnt up grade my basic vista-- it added another separate partition with Vista Premium [ a whole separate account that I choose upon turning on the computer and have to log into].
I need some one to please help!! What is the most cost effective/ free way to delete the Vista Premium partition? There is nothing on it that I want tto keep from it-- but I do want to save the materials on original Vista Basic. Do I have to backup my files?
If I used a Dell operating CD-- would this delete any information that is backed up? I really can't afford to buy an external hard disk right now...
Any ideas that you have on how to delete it would be helpful.
