I have recently tried to download the firefox program but when the download was completed i received a message saying : windows explorer has stopped working - checking for sloution : then the box closes and i dont get my download. It happens with...

I have recently tried to download the firefox program but when the download was completed i received a message saying : windows explorer has stopped working - checking for sloution : then the box closes and i dont get my download. It happens with every program i try to download.. I have no idea what to do.. please help me.. (in plain english) (im a little computer illiterate)
