my computer has just recently been upgraded my machine from XP SP3 to Vista Business SP1. I did not do a clean install i upgraded it. and i dont know exactly why, but my dial up connection has been very slow. ive looked at my network tab on the task manager and it seems as if anywhere from about 30 to 80% of my internet resources are being used...at all times. now ive run AVG, Spybot S&D, and Ad-Aware multiple times and have come up with nothing but cookies. I have also diabled windows update, so i cant think of any other program that might be downloading something, or anything that is using resources. for the love of god help me, it took me 5 minutes to load this page! anything you can think of i will try i...i want this done with. thanks guys
ps, before you tell me to get dsl or cable i cant get dsl or anything because absolutely nothing serves my house
