i have no idea what happened. i dragged a file from my desktop into a folder and now my "desktop" has been moved into that folder. so all my icons have disappeared on my actual desktop and i can't forget how to change it back. upon trying to...

i have no idea what happened. i dragged a file from my desktop into a folder and now my "desktop" has been moved into that folder. so all my icons have disappeared on my actual desktop and i can't forget how to change it back.

upon trying to fix this, someone the iteration repeated 20 times so now, the filepath is ...user/desktop/desktop/desktop/desktop/desktop/desktop/desktop/desktop/desktop/desktop/ etc.

i found the filepath in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders and changed it back, but nothing else has changed.

i'm not even what other information to give. help please!
