I installed a computer last summer with the VISTA home o/s. Recently we decided to load spybot on the system. When it is run, and finds some spyware, it indicates that it can not delete the files because I am not the administrator. I found out that the computer owner name was spelled wrong from when the info was copied from an older computer. I have tried to add a new user as an administrator but I still get the error message. How can I change the system internals so that when I log in, I am really the administrator ?
