Hi there,

I bought a laptop about a year ago and today after booting it up, I noticed a horrible problem with the display colours. The login screen has all the colour effects and shadows shrouded in a collection of red dots and everything that is white on the screen is now a turquoise colour (When I open MS Word, the page appears green-blue.) The display in general just has gone all wrong, basically.

I updated windows and my Graphics card (Nvidia 8600M GT) drivers...but still the same result.

Can anyone tell me what type of problem this is?

Is it a common problem that has a fix?

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you
