My first thought was to add the site to search bar - but sine their is more then one source of user input necessary, this didn't appear to be a viable solution. So now my thought is I want to create my own custom toolbar. The logic for this is that the ultimate goal would be something similar to the search portion of the Google Toolbar where you can enter your search terms, and then next to the search box you can choose where your searching (i.e. Images, groups, I'm Feeling lucky, the web, etc.).
I can't seem to find any tutorials for this, I see tutorials for creating custom toolbars from features of toolbars you already have installed, but not much of anything for creating one from scratch.
Pertinent information:
To be created for Firefox 3.
Site for which search is being created:
http://www.easicat.com (particularly using the "Browse" tab).
My computer is Running Vista Home Premium.
How do I go about doing this? Or is this not even the right approach?
