I am totally agree with you.
"Logo and Slogan" of a company represents the standard and quality of that particular company.Logo and slogan are the biggest supporters of company's brand name positioning.
eg. Just do it- Nike
The choice of a new generation -Pepsi
We bring good things to life GE
The happiest place on earth Disneyland,etc.

So, only by listening the slogan you can identify the company name.
So, while designing the companies site we should properly utilize the slogan and logo of our company.
