The Video Elements theme, designed by Jason Schuller is another in the lineup of video and specialty themes designed for those of you who want to place video and movies in an elegant layout/theme.

Like the other video themes, the Video Elements theme also integrates the mediabox script, which allows the videos to display over top of all the other content and present the video solo on the page.

Some Setup Instructions: Taking a look at the instructions/documentation guide (PDF file), most of the setup is straightforward and is provided in the documentation notes. To include featured videos in the sidebar, you need to create a category called ?Featured?, and the posts will be included there. Next, complete the PostRatings plugin installation as instructed.

To display your videos in a Gallery Page, you need to select the ?Gallery? page after creating a new page, then hit the ?Publish? button, and your videos will display in an additional page.

There are four unique sidebars, which come in handy if you need to create custom sidebars for different pages - ?Index?, ?Gallery?, ?Post?, and ?Page? areas of the website. You must know some basic WordPress theme editing before removing the default content - using widgets will break any ?default? options that have been set.

The coverflow bar displayed at the top of the page can be changed by accessing the ?Video Elements Options? tab under the ?Design? area of the WordPress dashboard. Here, you will be able to specify which posts and videos you want to display in that area.

Further Installation: For adding videos, thumbnails, and writing posts, the process isn?t so straightforward, and may involve adding custom fields or creating thumbnails to make the theme look the way you want it to and take advantage of all the features.

Overall, this theme helps form the standard for premium video themes and is one of the most popular video themes on the market. The theme combines multiple video viewing options, RSS subscription icons, and regular post functionality to create a well-rounded theme.
