My ubuntu is screwed i think. I built my computer with a intermediate understanding and asking old coworkers for help. I Had some trouble with my motherboard and memory recognizing each other so i would understand if there are more problems, maybe i don't know about.
so in a nut shell my desktop has issues like disappearing icons and tool bars, sluggish behavior, errors booting, etc.. man stresses me out just thinking about it. never the less i think i must just start from scratch, erase and reload ubuntu. I have some music to try an transfer to laptop but i don't have appropriate usb to usb cord. Can I use a ether cord? Can anyone help? Is this a good OS to use even if I have a windows based education. I just want it to play videos, music, and any other application commonly used with windows ease. I know I know I'm tryin though.
