I am trying to use Publisher 2003 to build a web site. The web builder is working pretty well but I'm having trouble trying to create a link to a PDF file. I add a navigation button to the home page and attach a hyperlink to the PDF file on my computer. In the "builder" mode it works fine. I hold down ctrl key and press the navigation button and after a warning message about following hyperlinks being dangerious it goes right to the PDF file I'm looking for. (This PDF is a newsletter, by the way). When I preview the web site in Explorer, the link is dead. The cursor changes to the finger indicating that there is a link there, but it will not follow it. Nothing happens when I click it. It somehow seems to me like the PDF needs to be somewhere in the web page. The link is to a file on my computer. Do I need to move this file somewhere so it will upload when I publish the site?
I'm confused?!?!?!?
