Pcsx2 Ultimate Thread


Pcsx2 is a emulator so you can play ps2 games on the computer.

I will be uploading and updating all the SVN's of pcsx2. If anyone tell me that this game works with SVN (number) and doesnt work with SVN (number) then i will put both of those svn's up for download and will put up a readme of what has changed.

What kind of specs will you need to be able to run pcsx2?

For 2d games and kingdom hearts 1, you will need an
2.4 ghz single core processor
Nvidia 6800
Ram:1 gig.

For 3D games such as Persona 3 or Grand Theft Auto Vice City. You need.

Minimum:
2.8ghz dual core processor.
Video card: Nvidia 8600gt
Ram 2 gigs.

Recomended:
3.6 ghz dual core processor such as overclocking a intel e6600 to 3.6.

Video card: Nvidia 8800gts OR Ati 4850
Ram 4 gigs.

So to end this basically you need the best processor video card and ram you can get.

SVN Releases

this section of my Pcsx2 post is for SVN's that you have to compile in order to use.

What is a SVN?

Basically, a SVN is a beta builds of the next pcsx2's so it is better then 9.4 but you need 9.4 installed so you can have the other main files that the SVN's run on.

This is pcsx2 SVN 390 just a little note if you go into speed hacks do NOT use the X3 its unstable.

This mod fixes hang-ups in Tales of the Abyss menu and some of <not all> freezes in Persona 3/4. Please DO NOTE that it might screw other working games up, so don't use it with other games, except for testing purposes of course.

HOW TO ENABLE IT:
Go to 'Speed Hacks' tab in 'Config' menu and check 'R. Mode MOD - Persona 3/4 and TotA Fix' option on. That's all.
