Hi everyone,
I would like to know which way is the best to deal with the issue I have.
I have two databases created with Access 2003. Both contain common information. The main reason for having those two dbs is that one is on the Web (this one contains a list of active members) and I wish to limit the information there. The other contains active and non active members and is only local on my workstation.
What I would like to do is to have a form that would allow me to modify the information contained, both the common and non common one, in one shot rather than having to make the changes twice.
I have linked the Web database to the local one, created a many-to-many relationship and created a simple form to make sure everything worked and it did.
1st problem, when I open the form, even though I chose the field from the local db, only the number of records found in the Web db displays.
2nd problem, I would like to be able to add from that same form new records (or members) and that the information would be stored in both dbs.
Hope this makes sense. BTW Happy New Year to all
