Egypt,
Intel Chairman Craig Barrett will visit Egypt in Decembert for meetings with senior government officials, educators and business leaders
During his visit, he will collaborate with business and government leaders to launch key initiatives in the education and
IT (Information Technology) sectors.

North Africa, commented:
'As one of the most important emerging markets, our global chairman's visit supports Intel's long-term commitment to
Egypt and its booming IT industry.'
'Over 70% of Intel's business and growth comes from
Emerging markets such as
Egypt. At
Intel Egypt, we realize the significance of collaborating with the IT ecosystem and local communities in order to empower tomorrow's generation of innovators,' he added.
According to
Elamrawi, the chairman will take this opportunity to make key announcements regarding
Intel's educational and technological initiatives in
Egypt.
To date, more than 160,000 teachers have been trained through the successful
Intel Teach Program.
Intel continues to support educators in
Egypt, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
