Egyptian Intelligence Chief General Omar Soliman arrived in a surprise visit to Beirut on Saturday carrying messages from Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to top Lebanese officials Soliman will hold meetings with President Michel Suleiman and Prime Minister Fouad Saniora respectively on Sunday. He will meet Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri on Monday.  The Egyptian official's visit comes on the eve of Saniora's trip to Cairo to participate in meetings of the higher Egyptian-Lebanese committee.
