Average yield rises on 364-day Egypt treasury bills

Central Bank of Egypt governor, Farouk el-Okda reported that the
average yield on
Egyptian 364-day
treasury bills was 11.966 percent at an auction on Monday, compared to 11.580 percent at last week's auction
It accepted bids for bills worth 2.5 billion
Egyptian pounds, the same amount it was seeking, he added.
It accepted bids at rates between 11.501 and 12.029 percent compared to a range of 11.35 to 11.65 percent at the previous auction, it added. The bills are for issue on January 6 and they mature on January 5, 2010.
