I put the ESPN "Bottom Line" at the bottom of my forum. It really looks good as well as practical if you like to see or get the latest scores from NFL, MLB, NBA, College Football, Golf, NHL WNBA, RPM, etc. It's customizable, flexable and allows to open a new window for "further info".

BTW: For some reason, I can't figure out why my "MENU" won't show proper links in the dropdown only. Any help with this issue would be greatly appriciated.
