Hi - I'm new to this forum & hope someone can help me with this issue.
One of the computers in the house is having trouble connecting to the wireless network. My computer (running Vista) was connected no problem & was able to access the internet. My daughter's computer (running XP) said it was connected but we were unable to access the internet even though it read connected with a good signal. It was connected yesterday & before that; today all of a sudden there's a problem. She swears she did nothing but open up Internet Explorer. I tried everything that I could think of to fix it....turned everything off & on again, repaired the connection, etc. but could still not access the internet. When I returned to my computer, I found that now I can not connect to the wireless network & received a messsage that the computer could not connect b/c another computer in the network had the same IP address. Seems in trying to fix one computer's connection, I did something to mine. Right now I am connected via a wired connection to the router.
So, now I need to know how to get both of them connected again?
