At first I thought maybe my PCI card had been damaged, now I'm at the point where I believe my PC is just screwing with me. The simple fix: drill holes in the wall and send an ethernet directly to the PC. I am trying very hard to refrain from using any cussing here.
Now, my issue. I had a WiFi card with my PC stock that had a coaxial antena coming from the card out of the PC used to connect to my wireless network. Suddenly one day, Windows decided to create "Wireless Connection #2" and make that device no longer available. The PCI card is plugged in, it shows up in the Device Manager which tells me its working properly. Big double you tee eff right? So after a raging war, I give up. Eventually I figure what the heck, I'll try out my other blutooth wifi. So I install the software for it, blahblahblah. Network Connection #3 works, has software, everything is working 100% awesome! Yay!
Now just recently after less than a week of easy browsing, I'm browsing the internet and I suddenly out of no where get all these 404 errors. I look at my status and its 4 green bars. After much confusion I figure, maybe I'm offline and it didn't update? Restart. Windows boots up and sure enough, 4 empty/red bars. So I check ipconfig, device is not connected, and IP address (Which was the same thing I got when the last wifi unit failed). Go to my Network Connections out of curiousity, check things out there. You'll never guess what...Wireless Connection #3 is gone, and there's now a Wireless Connection #4! I run through the Windows "Create a Connection" bs and sure enough, the device is disconnected, except I can clearly see the USB Wifi infront of me with a glowing orange light displaying the fact it is infact plugged in. I check Device Manager and as expected, everything is working properly! So why is my hardware suddenly disconnected?!
After so much frustration and anger, I am here, because I just can't figure it out.
