I've scoured the internet for answers, but wireless problems are so vast that I can't pinpoint the answer to my problem. This is what happened:
1. Internet and computer working fine as usual.
2. Windows Updater offered to update with Service Pack 1
3. I confirmed
4. After the computer restarted, I tried to go about my business.
5. NO INTERNET CONNECTION.
6. Uninstalled the Service Pack, restarted. Still no connection.
Other Symptoms (I watch House too much):
-Opening Dell Wireless WLAN Card utility spurs the following message: "The Wireless Network Adapter could not be accessed. This application may have diminished functionality as a result".
- Dell Wireless WLAN card Utility says: Radio Disabled
-Radio Configuration/Dell Quickset WiFi Catcher says:Switch: Status Enabled
So somehow this service pack did something that disabled/messed up my wireless -- and now I don't know what to do! I am running Windows Home Vista Premium, and am using an B/G/N Draft wireless chip from Broadcom/Dell.
Help would be awesome... please
