I recently bought on Ebay the scanner listed in the SUBJECT title. I am using the Platform Vista Home Premium and the instalation disc does not work but stops dead after two screens appear indicating it will install the bundle. After the second "NEXT" click thats where it stops dead. I suspect this scanner is with the current disk install..is.not compatible with my platform. It messages
something about NTVD not responding. Does this mean this scanner is only compatable with the NT platform? Am I stuck with a bad purchase or is there some way to get this to work with my Vista Platform? Wrote to UMAX support
