My Toshiba Satellite P205 laptop has two slots for memory. In one slot is a 2-gig stick and the other is empty. I bought another 2-gig stick - same manufacturer, same part number. Either stick works in either slot, but with both sticks in the computer will not start.

The laptop has a 945 chipset that I believe supports 4-gigabytes RAM. Any suggestions?
