I know the network is working. I can connect to the internet, and my Vista machine shows this computer as being a Media Device. However, it does not show up at all as a Computer so I can't view folders and files. Upon trying to figure out this problem, I've come across infinite tutorials on how to enable file sharing. However,
every tutorial gets to the point of telling me to check "Use Simple File Sharing (Recommended)" in
Folder Options..., and it is not there for me.
I recently had to reformat/reinstall Windows XP on this machine, and prior to that it worked fine. All computers are in the same workgroup, also. It just seems to be that I cannot check the SFS option. Is there a way to get it back?
Thanks,
Cory
