Recently I purchased a Toshiba Satellite P300-1CN, the OS is Windows Vista Home Premium Edition. Ater exactly 7 days the laptop would not boot to windows. It froze twice that day and I had to force restart it by holding down the shut down button. After the second shut down it would not boot to windows. Couldn't even choose to boot in safe mode . So I sent it for repairs and after 2+ weeks Toshiba sent it back today. There was a faulty HDD and it was replaced and tested.
However considering the laptop had problems within 7 days of taking it out of the box I am considering asking for a replacement or refund. Do you think I should bother, was the incident a fluke with the defective piece gone or could this laptop possibly be a mess?
