Hello, Currently I have a setup as follows: Modem -> VoIP Gateway -> Router and Phone I play online games and the gateway severely diminishes the amount of games I can join. So to have the connection bypass the gateway can I set it up like...

Currently I have a setup as follows:

Modem -> VoIP Gateway -> Router and Phone

I play online games and the gateway severely diminishes the amount of games I can join. So to have the connection bypass the gateway can I set it up like this:

Modem -> Router -> VoIP Gateway -> Phone

Router: Linksys WRT54GS
VoIP Gateway: DVG-1120M
