I just recently bought an Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 to upgrade from my Intel Celeron E1200. My motherboard is an ELITEGROUP 945GCT-M3 3.1, which has the LGA775 socket, which supports up to Intel Core 2 Duo, but when I install the newer cpu, the BIOS won't post. Do I need to update my BIOS in order to recognize the newer cpu?
