Keyboard/Interface error

When booting i recieve a

"keyboard/interface error"

I have tryed two differant PS2 keyboards on the mainboard. Both keyboards are working as i have tested them with my secondary vista machine downstairs. I am sure i have the keyboards in the correct slot. The error occured after i changed the case of my machine. I put the power connector in the jsp11 slot a few times and hit the power switch thinking that it was the jfp1 connector. Could this have fryed the keyboard controller?, if so how do i fix the keyboard controller. Can it be troubleshooted, how much would it cost to repair?

Any help appreciated

Posted: Dec 10, 2008 by MSI I cleared cmos as described in the manual then tryed to enter bios but i got a

PS2 Mouse not found
Keyboard/Interface Error
CMOS Settings wrong
CMOS Date/Time not set
Press F1 to Run setup
Press F2 to load default values

I have tryed attaching the USB keyboard i have too three diferant USB ports. I cannot input any keys whatsoever. I have tested the keyboard on my vista machine and i know it works.I think the keyboard controller needs to be repaired and the usb controller too. Do you offer a repair service?, how much do you charge?

My BIOS version us RTL8111B/8168B
