Hello all. I am having a little trouble with my monitor. You see, my laptop screen broke so I connected an external monitor it was fine but recently I tried to install Ubuntu 8.10. It installed fine but when I restarted and it went into the bootloader I couldn't see anything! Once I start up windows the monitor works fine but before I start windows or when I start Ubuntu it just shows up on a tiny portion of my *****ed LCD screen. I am wondering is there any way to disable the built in screen on my laptop completely and just use the external monitor even before windows starts. If you could help me that would be great. Thanks
