I'm just going along and then after I've been using the computer for a while the screen just goes blank. The blue LED light on the bottom of the monitor indicating it's "on" also goes off. After 3-5 seconds, the screen comes back on as does the blue...
I'm just going along and then after I've been using the computer for a while the screen just goes blank. The blue LED light on the bottom of the monitor indicating it's "on" also goes off. After 3-5 seconds, the screen comes back on as does the blue LED light. I haven't lost anything and I'm right back where I was.Then it happens again every 10 minutes or so. This happened months ago. Problem stopped for a while. I thought it was over, but it's back. Device Manager says, NO Problems with hardware. 2Yr old Acer Veritron 6900 with Intel GMA 3000 graphics using SCEPTRE LCD 19" monitor, Win XP Pro operating sys. My initial thought is Monitor because the blue LED "on" light also goes off, but could it be something else???
