Hello.. I would like to upgrade the memory on my PC, but i wasnt sure which would work. I ran a crucial system scan, and it couldnt report the exact type, but came back with DDR PC2 - 5200 The sticker on the chip itself says - Elixir...

I would like to upgrade the memory on my PC, but i wasnt sure which would work.

I ran a crucial system scan, and it couldnt report the exact type, but came back with
DDR PC2 - 5200

The sticker on the chip itself says - Elixir 512mb , PC2-4200u

I've had a look around and im not too sure which type to buy..DDR, DDR2, and im not too sure which brand either..

Can anyone help me please?
