i know,,, i know,,, the best video card out there is the 4870 x2,, the best price performance ratio video cards out there are the 4870 and 4850....... my problem is that in my ignorance i bought a 22 inch screen monitor,, samsung 2253,, great...

my problem is that in my ignorance i bought a 22 inch screen monitor,, samsung 2253,, great monitor,, but on my geforce 6200 i cannot even reach 20 fps in counter strike source,,,

now,, im not from the us,,, in my country computer parts prices are extremeley high,, so im really looking for the best price performance ratio,,

here an ati 4850 1gb cost 259 usd
an ati 4870 512 mb 365 usd
and an ati 4870 1gb mb 425 usd


obviusly since im buying a whole new system, i cant afford paying almost 500 usd in video card,, what i want to know,, is what can i expect of the 4850 1gb on a 1680x1050 resolution.......

would i be able to play new games at full fps, and graphics,,???


if the answer is yes...

how much time would i be able to do it?? i mean,, when is going to be obsolete for future games,, especially considering the fact that a 1680x1050 resolution cost in performance a lot more than 1024x768 for example....


i think i shouldnt bought the 22 inch,, maybe a syncmaster 932 would have been better,,,,,
