Since few days the Status Window of my Local Area Connection is not shown. Connection is working, I can see its properties by right-click, but a left-click does nothing.
Also the indication icon in notification area has been vanished, while it is checked to do so in the properties window.
The other connection options I have (dial up), have no such problem, Status Window is shown.
I also see a hidden process of IExplorer (no active window) to run under the Explorer. I do not know if this happened before the network status problem, and if it is related to the above problem.
If I close this process from task manager, it is launched again by the explorer. Terminating the explorer (loosing task bar etc), the iexplorer process stays but it can be closed.
Running again explorer to show the task bar and icons, the process is launched again (i see it in the task manager).
