Hello, I am currently using Verizon FiOS which is verizon's fairly new fiberobtics service. It has been very good at times but has also been very problematic. The main problem is the Actiontec router that they provide you with. Today when i arrived home from work i hopped on the computer and realized that i did not have any connection at all. I restarted the router, rebooted the computer took all the steps multiple times and nothing was working. Therefore i called up verizon and they made me do the same procedures and no outcome. They then told me that it was a router problem and that they would be shipping me a new one in 2 days. But in the mean time i will be able to plug my computer's ethernet directly in the wall. That worked without a problem on my computer in my office. But the computer in the other room when plugged in directly receives the limited or no connection status. I have reinstalled/uninstalled drivers took out plugs restarted computer and other similar methods. But nothing seems to work. Just as a note i am only plugging in one ethernet at a time as that is all the jack has, and when i switch to other computer it continues to work perfectly.
Thanks for your time and help
