I have a Dell XPS M1330 running Windows Vista Business edition.
My mum bought me a Kodak ESP 7 wireless printer. I installed according to the instructions, but can't connect wirelessly. I have added the exceptions to Windows firewall, but that didn't help.
When I click on my computer, I can see the flash drive for the printer. When I look at the network, it shows me that the printer is there, but it cannot map it onto the network, and I can't do anything with it. The Kodak Aio centre opens but says the printer is disconnected. My husband can connect using his XP computer which is connected to the router via USB, which leads me to believe it's some tricky little Vista issue.
I have talked on their live chat for over an hour, but they were useless, insisting it must be my firewall, even when the firewall was disabled, and couldn't offer any help. I phoned their technical support as well, but the person I was talking to said he wasn't very good at wireless!
Please help!!
