Just a quick question. Would it be better to have two different IP ranges when using an ISA box that is multi-homed? For example, would it be better to set the network up like... INTERNET - ROUTER(192.168.10.X) - (192.168.10.X)ISA...
Just a quick question.
Would it be better to have two different IP ranges when using an ISA box that is multi-homed?
For example, would it be better to set the network up like...
INTERNET - ROUTER(192.168.10.X) - (192.168.10.X)ISA (10.1.1.X)- (10.1.1.X)INTERNAL NETWORK
or would it be better to have everything on the same ip range? i.e... everything on the class a network?
I cant decide which way I want to do it. Breaking it into 2 ranges is safer and creates a DMZ... but.... we don't host any webservers so does it matter? I know I am thinking too much into this, just want some input.
Thanks in advance!
