I have for my music pc (Asus NCCH-DL with dual Xeon) 2 external HDD (in caddies) which have stopped working (mounting) since installing a homeplug network rather than wireless.

Also whilst one drive triggers a noise of acceptance by the pc. no icon pops up in the taskbar and it is nor visible in explorer. I am using XP Pro.

Any help/clues gratefully welcome
