We have ATT DSL, at our business before we were using the modem that came with the DSL, that took a poop on us. Now we have the Actiontec. We have always used it with ethernet cables, connecting to our notebooks, out in the shop and in the office. My dad just bought a Dlink wireless router, and I tried hooking it up. at the end it said we were connected wirelessly, but then the internet wasn't working, either when we tried wireless or when I plugged the cables in.
It's kind of weird because the modem is a modem/router and there is not just one ethernet port, that you would normally plug into the wireless router where it says "internet". so im not sure how to go about things. I'm not even sure if the two are compatible, and I couldn't find answers online.
ANY HELP PLEASE. if you need any more info just ask
Thanks, Noah.
