After reading some more, I thought I'd try a couple of things & post my info. here. I have two computers; both can connect to the network but only one (the one I'm using - obviously) can connect to the Internet. I've tried everything I can think of & have compared the settings on both computers & they appear to be the same so I'm stumped as to why the other one all of a sudden won't connect. Here are my results from ipconfig:
Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600]

C:\Documents and Settings\Chris>ipconfig
Windows IP Configuration

I am able to ping to the numbered addresses but when I ping to a named address (ie, google.com) I get an error. Any ideas? This is driving me crazy. The other computer uses XP & it did do some automatic updates yesterday.....which was the last time it was connected to the Internet.
Please help!
