I have had this intermittent issue for a while now. It's not more than an inconvenience, but its about time i got it fixed...
I have a wireless HP laptop running vista and acessing the internet through a belkin router.
It works fine most of the time, but occasionally it refuses to connect to the internet. When this happens, the connection link at the bottom right of screen next to the clock shows a yellow caution sign. When i click on it, it shows that i am still connected to the local network with good signal but acess is "limited connectivity".
What i have always done to fix this is simply unplug the router, let it reset then the computer automatically reconnects and the internet works fine. This may last a day, a week or up to a month before it re-occurs.
This problem has happened both in my old house and my current house. It happens on both computers in the house, although not necessarily at the same time (one may work while the other doesn't). It also happened on my old D-Link G router as well as my current Belkin G+ router.
Any ideas would be appreciated...
