ANY help is greatly appreciated..........

I have a D Link DI-614+ AirPlus™ wireless router... I have had no luck trying to configure a Wireless network with my HP pavilion laptop running windows Vista. I Have tried to reset the router via the reset button hole...and Im not sure its even resetting.... The router was in perfect working order and used previously for an Xbox 360's connection to the Internet. I dont have a disk or access to any previous settings or passwords....
