This is my first time making a computer. If my math is correct that should cost around 1100 and give me a Quad core 2.66 processor with 6GB DDR3 Ram, 1TB hard drive, and a relatively good graphics card.
My questions are as follows;
Do all of these components work together or is there something that might work better?
Am I missing anything?
And is this a better deal then choosing

and simply upgrading it to my needs? Though the two are similar ($1100 is about as high as I can afford) I noticed that the Dell Studio XPS lacks a few key things which are 2G DDR3Ram, 380GB Hard Drive Space, and most importantly the customer reviews state that it only has a 360W Power Supply, which is what really scares me.
Any help would be appreciated!
