by the way if you still have the same issue i think it's better to wait the next vr of FMS

FMS 3.5

look to this feature

MP4/F4V recording
Flash Media Server now supports F4V/MPEG-4 recording on the server, enabling developers to record video on the server in an ISO-standard format. Live video and audio streams containing codecs supported by Flash Media Server can be recorded on the server. Possible sources include Flash Player, Flash Media Live Encoder, a partner solution, or a live stream containing pre-recorded assets. Recording can be started from a client or server API.

The following table lists the supported codecs and their earliest required SWF file format and Flash Player versions:

Note: AIR is a cross-operating system runtime that contains Flash Player 9 Update 3 or later. Flash Player and AIR support an alpha channel with On2 VP6 only.

Flash Player 9 Update 3 and AIR support playback of the following subsets of the MPEG-4 standards:

Supported file formats

All editions of Flash Media Server support the following file formats:
FLV format
All versions of Flash Media Server (1, 2, and 3 and later) support playback and recording of the FLV file format.

The FLV file format supports the following codecs: On2 VP6, Sorenson Spark, and mp3.

You can create FLV files from existing digital video or audio files using several different methods.
For example, use third-party video encoding utilities, like On2 or Sorenson Squeeze, or export the files from Flash.

Recorded streams can contain data messages, as well as video and audio and are stored in the FLV file format.
F4V format (MP4 compatible)
Flash Media Server 3.5 introduces recording support for the MPEG4 file format. Live video and audio streams containing any codecs supported by Flash Media Server can be recorded on the server into the F4V (MP4 compatible) format. Sources include server-side ActionScript, RTMP Library, Flash Media Server MultiPoint, and server-side playlists. Adobe production tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Soundbooth can be used to edit the files.
F4V, MP4, M4A, MOV, MP4V, 3GP, and 3G2

Flash Media Server 3.0 and later supports playback of all Flash Media Server-supported audio and video codecs within MPEG-4 Part 14 container formats.
Note: Files recorded using Flash Media Server 3.5 cannot be played back in Flash Media Server 3.0.

You can use any number of industry-standard tools to create files in these formats with these types of encoding, including Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.

Important: If a file contains portions of audio and video not encoded using codecs supported by Flash Media Server, those parts of the stream do not play.

We are not talking about doing that manually , we are talking about that using any web scripting language to do it

our user was recording video using Web application developed by Adobe Flash to capture the camera video and store it on the server

He tried FFMPEG this a codec to convert any video to any video but the classes PHP Classes.

anyway we was using Flash media server to record the Video and he faced some problem because Flash media server, he tried serval solution to fix some sound errors after converting using FFMPEG but nothing worked with him

He is saying now when he changed Flash media server with RED 5
He fixed this problime with the same FFMPEG code.
