Normally, there are a login sound and shut-down sound respectively
played when I start up and shut down my XP pc. However, days ago, with
unknown reasons, my pc started up and shut down silently. Due to this
issue, I had tried to play around the Audio/Sound settings at control
panel. When I tried to test-play the sound there, it did play. So it
was sure my music files were not lost. But I have no clue what caused
this problem... Can you please help?? Thanks A Lot!
