So I've had this problem for about a month or so now.. and I'm not really sure if it's something I can fix.
I've got a wireless Belkin keyboard, works fine in other computers and have never given me any trouble in years of use.
A while ago though, after a XP Re-install, every now and then my computer wouldn't find the keyboard on boot.. it would just give me the "keyboard error or no keyboard" message. This then started showing up more and more..
I can solve this by unplugging the PS2 lead, putting it straight back in and pressing alt ctrl del to restart the computer.. then it finds it fine. (also finds it fine if I've just done a restart from desktop etc).
But whenever I actually power the computer down, it now always give me this error and I have to unplug, plug in etc..
I know issues with the motherboard may be at work? After a lot of searching around many answers to keyboard troubles are motherboard related. But other than this, my computer works completely fine and I don't have any troubles.
Just wondering if this is something anyone has come across before or might know how to solve? If nothing else can be done, I'll buy a new motherboard as this is a business computer and I need to know it wont just go up in smoke on me one day.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!
