Hey guys,
This morning, my dad was complaining about a bunch of popups and viruses on my mom's computer so I went over and got rid of about a billion with VundoFix and AdAware. After doing about a million re-scans, I restarted the computer, left it alone, and headed on my way to eat cookies. A few hours later, my mom called me back because she said it wouldn't log in.
When I finally got there and tried logging in, the computer did its usual by saying "loading user settings..." or whatever it says, showed the empty wallpaper, and then went back to the logon screen background with "saving user settings... logging out...".
I restarted and tried again and again, then tried checking the system settings at boot up, tried going into safe mode and debugging mode (same logon problem happened), and nothing worked.
I'm thinking something got deleted along with all the viruses I got rid of earlier (10 severe-rated viruses, but about like 150 if you include the virus cookies).
Any ideas to get it to work? It's a Windows XP, Dell Inspiron. Thanks in advance
